We are monitoring the rapidly changing situation closely. To quickly address the recent evolution of COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to support the wider effort aimed at slowing the spread of the virus.
We will limit the amount of human to human interactions as per the government recommendations and practise social distancing.
With this in mind, effective March 23, 2020, we will be following the protocols mentioned below to extend care to all of our clients as long as possible, hopefully throughout the current crisis:
Please call us when you arrive for your appointment, and wait for further instruction. We are now allowing one person over the age of 18 to come into the exam room.
If you are picking up food or medication, please call ahead.
Make sure that you bring your pet in a carrier or leash.
We will no longer be making cash transactions, payments can be done by e-transfer or credit card by phone.
Our Veterinarians will speak to you on the phone regarding history, symptoms and findings.
Our hope is to minimize the number of people our clients come into contact with as well as our staff. This is a stressful time for all and we don’t want our clients worrying about their pets. So we will do our best to remain available for everyone while creating a safe environment.
We will be reassessing the situation in the coming days and weeks as things evolve and we will keep you updated and informed of any changes.
